David Janson

There are lot of heroes in the world, but my hero is David Jason. He is an actor in a very popular TV show called Only Fools and Horses and A Touch of Frost.

BBC broadcast show called A Touch of Frost is a program on every Thursday evening. All my family gathers together in front of the TV. My father sits on a large, comfortable couch with my mum beside him, me and my brother Gregor are watching it from the armchairs on each side. In spite of the two hours length, we watch it constantly. It is always very interesting and sometimes even bizarre, but what I admire is his common sense, humor and intelligence. Sometimes I wish I could have such humor as he has. He is small, a bit fat (he always eats fast food as a character – and what is good fun: he always gives his boss a receipt to pay for it with the excuse that he has to catch the criminal. He has a mustache, a silly hat and a very typical English rain coat. He lives alone.

The actor David Jason was born on 2nd February, 1940. He is almost as old as my father. When he was younger and thinner he also played in the TV show called Only Fools and Horses, which became very popular. He was playing with Nicholas Lyndhurst. Even though the episodes were shot a long time ago, it is still number one in England. Last year it was voted as the best BBC comedy. The second place was taken by the comedy called Keeping up Appearances, which is also very funny (that is what my brother fancies very much).
