Jesus

Do you know anyone who turned water into wine, walked on water, and died on a cross for you and me? It’s Jesus, my hero! He lived from before time and will live on forever.

Jesus came down from Heaven to Earth as a baby. He was born in Bethlehem in a manger. His earthly parents were Mary and Joseph. When He was 12 years old, He told the scribes and Pharisees all about God. They were amazed by how much He knew. He began His ministry at age 30.

Jesus was an amazing person when He walked on Earth. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, and died on a cross for you and me, and actually, everyone on our planet! Jesus loves everyone. Jesus has many followers, many of whom are Christian. A lot of people loved Jesus and still do today. Jesus also has enemies, too. In Biblical times, it was the scribes and Pharisees who hated Jesus. Even today, people are still questioning the Bible and Jesus.

After Jesus died on the cross, He rose again on what Christians now celebrate as Easter. He then walked with His disciples for 40 days. On His last day on Earth, He went up to live with His Father. He said that He would come back for us. In the meantime, He would give us His Holy Spirit to live inside every believer.

In conclusion, by His amazing miracles you can tell that Jesus has power to do anything. Jesus could have said, “No, I won’t go down and have myself killed and tortured.” He could have done that, but He didn’t. That’s how much He loves us and cares about us. He has made a difference in my life because by reading the Bible with my mom, I have learned many laws and regulations that God wants us to follow, such as the Ten Commandments. I follow Him because I think that it’s right. I also follow Him to be a good person. Without Him, I would feel like something is missing in my life.
