A hero means many different things to me. A hero is someone who is always there for you. They help and encourage you when you are going through hard times. A hero is someone that you can’t necessarily see, but someone you can believe in. Jesus Christ, the Son of God falls under all these categories and many more. Jesus has made many promises to me in the past, is with me in the present, and will do many things for me in the future.

First of all God created the world, everything in it, and He even created me! He created everyone in a wonderful and amazing way. God made promises to His people that I can also rely on. He sent a rainbow in the sky to promise that He would never destroy the world with a flood again. Believe it or not, Jesus has done many things in the past that has affected my life. Jesus, God’s only Son came into the world so that He could teach His people about the kingdom of heaven, the Holy Scriptures, and perform miracles so that people would believe in Him. The most important thing that Jesus did for me in the past and for the whole world was that He died on the cross to take away all my sins that I will ever do in my life.

Jesus Christ helps me in the present in many ways, too. Every day Jesus walks with me everywhere I go. He is always with me in everything I do. He protects me from the temptations of the devil and from the lies of the world. He gives me strength in bad situations and gives me the right words to say. Jesus blesses me with my family, friends, school, church, food, water, clothes, and my talents. He gives me opportunities to go to church to worship and thank Him for everything that he has done for me. Every night, He forgives me of all of my sins no matter how big or small it is.

Jesus will also do things for me in my future. Jesus said, “And surely I will be with you always, until the very end of the age,” in Matthew 28:20. It’s an amazing thing to remember that Jesus will be with me forever even though some people may not be there for me. He will help me through tough situations and decisions in my future. The final thing that Jesus will do for me and for the whole world is that He will come back to the Earth on Judgment Day to bring those who believe in Him to live in heaven with Him and God forever. In fact, He is preparing a place for me right now!

Jesus is my hero for many reasons. He loves me and will love me forever. He will give me courage, wisdom, and all the Fruits of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, self-control, faithfulness, and gentleness. Jesus wants me to tell others who don’t know about him. He wants me to forgive others for all the wrongs they have done to me and to love my enemies. He helps me live my life to the fullest and shows everyone who He is through me. Jesus has made promises to me in the past, helps me every day, and will take me home to heaven someday in the future.
