John Pinette

John Pinette, as you may or may not know, is a very successful comedian, who was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He happens to be my hero. He hasn’t done much to help the environment and to save the earth, but that’s fine with me. He makes people laugh, and that is why he’s my hero. I don’t think that to be a hero you have to help the earth, or save someone, or do something miraculous. You simply need to have the will power to do something good for people, and in his case, it’s making people laugh.

John Pinette started his comedic career at the age of 22, and was a huge hit. Soon, he was touring with Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles. In 1999, he was named Stand-Up Comedian Of The Year, by The American Comedy Awards, and has received a Gemini Award nomination for his superb performance at the Montreal Comedy Festival in 2000.

After noticing what a huge hit John was, Hollywood started to cast John in both television and film roles. Some examples of films he has been in are: Duets, starring Gwenyth Paltrow, Dear God, starring Gregg Kinnear, and Junior, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was also in the hit television series Parker Louis Can’t Die, and he played a car jack victim in the final episode of Seinfeld.

John has continued his stand-up comedy all across America, including shows on MTV, Fox, and A&E. With the release of his first CD, Show Me the Buffet, one might say that John Pinette will soon become a household name.
