Michael Jeffrey Jordan

Michael Jordan was born on the 17 February, 1963 in Brooklyn. He was the best known athlete in the world. He now lives in Wilmington. He was famous for basketball and baseball. In basketball he played for the Chicago Bulls and the Wizards. He was the Bulls' leading scorer. In baseball he played for the Chicago White Sox. Michael Jordan scored more than 3000 points in one season. He won a gold medal at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, playing basketball for the United States Olympic basketball team. He returned to basketball in 1994.

Michael Jordan was a hero because he was confident, brave and he believed in himself. People called him MVP of the NBA finals. I chose this character because I like basketball and Michael Jordan is a basketball player.
