Juanes

In our lives, we have a lot of hard situations, where people have trouble in their lives, and this is when heroes appear. Some heroes are considered to be heroes because of their actions, and one of the most important heroes of Colombia is Juan Esteban Aristizaba, best known by his artistic name: Juanes. Juanes was born in Medellin, Colombia, one of the most beautiful cities in Colombia, on August 9, 1972. Juanes is married and has two kids, and has made his life based on what happens in the real world. Juanes did a lot of good things for the world, but mostly, he improved daily life in Colombia.

Colombia is a country that has one of the highest rates of mutilation by arms in the world. Juanes has focused on this; he started a foundation called “Mi Sangre," or "My Blood," in english. Juanes made this foundation to help the victims of anti-personnel mines in Colombia. Juanes is also motivated by his own experiences of violence. For example, when kidnappers executed his cousin, he had to become a strong man who took care of the people that suffered.

Juanes got an electric guitar that produces original music with an extreme variety of sources, styles and influences. Juanes is considered a hero mostly because of his music. His music and lyrics are based on experiences from daily life. Juanes has made a difference!! He is not just a singer; he sings for all the people that are victims.

Juanes has showed us the value of life, but mostly the value of helping each other. He has made something peaceful for Colombia. Juanes, even after becoming famous, is noble and honest. I really admire him, not for what he is on the outside, but for what he has done! And most of all, for his songs. Juanes is really proud of always helping his race.

In conclusion, I consider Juanes a big hero mostly because he has thought about mine-clearing for humanity. In my opinion, the satisfaction and the enthusiasm of his work have given Juanes a second life. Now, he is considered more than just a simple singer, he is considered to be a HERO. He is a face of peace that represents Colombia.
