Not just a musician, but also my hero. Kurt Cobain was probably the most realistic and kindest person to ever achieve such success in music. Born February 20, 1967 in Aberdeen, Washington. Son to father and mother, Donald Cobain and Wendy Elizabeth. Kurt Cobain was a smart human being, not only because of the amazing music he made, but because he saw the world for what it really was, damaged.
When Kurt was a young child, his parents divorced which made him resent his parents for it. He said he was in someway ashamed of not having his parents together because he wanted the classic, mom, dad and children. He had a younger sister, Kimberly. Both his parents found partners after divorcing, but his mother's partner was abusive and he witnessed all the domestic violence towards her. His dad married Jenny Westeby which he liked at first but then resented, because of jealousy. He lived with one of his friend's family who was Christian and then he became a devout Christian, going to church every week. Later on he renounce Christianity and begin what was known as his "Anti-God" rants.
Kurt Cobain is not my hero because of how "cool" he was. Kurt is my hero because he managed to become one of the most famous persons on earth and still be so simple, so humble. He wrote about life, and never was afraid of telling people what he thought of them. Kurt Cobain didn't judge in any way.
Kurt Cobain wrote music with his heart, he wrote about what he felt. He wrote about things in the world, not about what most people do nowadays. He was a true musician, and he was a gift to the world.
Kurt Cobain had a fairly hard childhood, but he loved his daughter, Frances. It's a shame he wasn't completely happy. I would have loved to meet him, but he didn't have enough strength to carry such weight on his shoulders. He will always be my hero.
