Kate Gosselin

Heroes range from your own mother to even a super hero. Most people have someone they can look up to if they want to admit it or not. To me Kate Gosselin fits all the requirements of what a hero is. She is a mother of eight young kids, not all at different ages either. She has a set of twins and a set of sextuplets. My biggest dream is to have three sets of twins. Everyone tells me how much work it is, but after watching Kate raise her eight kids i know the love and fun beats out all the hard times. Everything she does, being big or small really direct to the impressive person she is.

Even before being ready to have kids, Kate knew she would have problems becoming pregnant because she had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. This did not stop Kate thought. Her husband Jon and she researched fertility doctors and found a reliable one close to them. After visiting the fertility doctor Kate became pregnant very quickly. To Jon and her surprise they were having twins. It was so exciting for them. Labor was rough for Kate but she managed and gave birth to two healthy girls. Kate was successfully raising her two girls, but also had an itch for more children. Her husband did not agree to this, but Kate being Kate managed to persuade him.

When trying to get pregnant again, the first cycle failed. After changing doctors, the cycle the second time around was perfect! Good news right? Well the Gosselins knew there was a chance of mutiples but they never imagined about the news they were about to get. There were SIX babies inside of Kate. It was so hard for them, when the doctors tried to get them to use reduction. They refused and decided to go along with everything. They don't regret a thing. This happy couple gave birth to three little girls and 3 little boys. This is when Kate's life was turned all around. Right away she had to worry because of all the babies health. There were such great chances of death but Kate never stopped praying. Once the babies were finally taken home everything had to be figured out. Kate needed to make exact schedules, prepare food, keep time for the twins and her husband, do laundry, change diapers and so much more. Even after all this Kate never sank. She is such an organized, astonishing person that i don't think many woman could keep up with.

Even now, raising two 8 year olds and six 4 year olds, Kate manages to put her family on a TV show called Jon and Kate plus 8. This is where i learned of the family and fell in love with them ever since. TLC follows this un-average American family. Jon and Kate are the ambitious parents of this adorable bunch and they are battling all odds to make sure their kids have a normal, happy childhood. TLC follows them as they tackle seemingly ordinary life events like pumpkin picking and birthday parties that become extraordinary when you have two sets of energetic multiples.

I would recommend that you take a half and hour and watch this show one time. It really is amazing what Kate does not only for herself but her family. This family is anything but ordinary but i know the Gosselins would not have it any other way.
