Kellie Pickler is a GREAT influence that any girl should look up to!!!!!! Kellie was born in Stanley Memorial Hospital when her mom was the age of 18 (Wikimedia foundation, w). Kellie was a small town girl who grew up in a hard life. Pickler’s mom abandoned her at age 2, her dad was an addict to cocaine (Sony Bmg, w). She has lived with her grandma for her whole life just like me.

Pickler won the gold on cmt.com with her song “small town girl”. The gold means that song sold more than 500,000 hits (Country Music Television incorporated,w). Kellie's heroes include god, and her deceased grandparents (mom and dad)(American idol, w). Kellie wrote the song small town girl and that’s all she was. Now Kellie is a big time singer and a great success.

Pickler was chosen to go to Hollywood by Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Paula Abdul. Kellie was into the final six when she got eliminated (American idol, w). Pickler’s dad got out of jail from a stabbing incident the week before Kellie’s elimination (cmt inc., w). Kellie dedicated her song “I Wonder” to her mom when she found out she was going be big. Pickler is one of the top American idol alumni (American idol, w).

Kellie went through a lot of stuff when she was little. Out of a bad life Kellie shot for her dreams and she reached them. Kellie did all she could and kept trying even after getting eliminated from American idol(American idol,w). She kept her head straight after her mom left her, dad in and out of prison, and her grandparents' deaths. Kellie is an all over success.

Kellie is a women that any women of any age should look up to. Kellie doesn't get recognized as much as people like Martin Luther King Jr. but she is just as inspiring to me, if not more, than him. Kellie is a wonderful person that any women or child can relate to. This concludes my essay on my hero : KELLIE PICKLER
