Kate Sheppard was born in England in 1847 and died in 1934 from old age. Kate Sheppard is my hero because she is very inspiring to all females! At one time, women were not allowed to vote, but Kate thought it wasn't fair so she went on a strike and got other women to help to change the "No Women Allowed to Vote" rule.
Kate Sheppard was successful! The first country to change was New Zealand, then Canada and then the United States.
