A hero to me is someone that doesn't make excuses. Also a hero should be a good leader in the community. A hero should be surrounded by a bunch of good people. A hero also makes very good choices. A hero just doesn't care about himself or herself, but for other people as well. A hero also shouldn't smoke, do drugs, or drink heavily.

My hero would have to be Kyle Maynard. Kyle Maynard wasn't born with any limbs. He has worked through life just like everyone else despite his disabilities. Kyle wrestled for a school in Georgia named Collins Hill High School. He had the body of a 170 pound teenager, but he had to wrestle 103 pounds because he didn't have the extra limbs that everyone else had. Kyle proved everyone wrong. He placed at the Georgia high school state-wrestling tournament. Nobody thought that he could go so far in wrestling and in life, but he did. I have never met him before, but my dad has met him at the NCAAs in 2006 in Oklahoma City. I want to meet him. He has written a book called "No Excuses". It talks about his struggle through life and how he dealt with everyday things. That is why he is my hero.
