John Kuzmic

My hero is John Kuzmic. He is a friend of mine, and my mom, and my sister. He is my hero for many reasons.

John is a man with courage, who is strong, who has ability, and who is admired by many people for his brave deeds. John fits my definition of a hero, because he is a leader. He gives me good advice and I can trust him.

John is a fireman and a paramedic in Laguna Beach and that is his job. He saves people for a living. He risks his life when there is a fire, he goes into burning buildings and pulls people out on his shoulders. He tells me the fires don't happen very often so he usually saves people who are hurt. One time, he saved a guy that almost had his leg fully cut off in a motorcycle accident and he saved his leg.

When John is with me, that's when he really is my hero. He plays soccer, baseball, and other sports with me. He also teaches me how to use stuff. But mostly, we go to the top of mountains and we race down on our snowboards but I always win.

When I grow up, I want to be just like my hero, John Kuzmic.
