Lee Min Ho

Lee Min Ho was born in Seoul, South Korea, in June 22, 1987. He had dreams of becoming a soccer player when he was a child. He then decided to become an actor during his second year of his high school career. He has starred in many Korean TV Dramas. Lee Min Ho recently finished a drama, City Hunter, in which he played as the main character.

As a child, Lee Min Ho wanted to become a soccer player. An injury when he was in elementary school washed away his dreams of becoming one. He still practices in soccer. He trained for soccer for four years when he was young. He occasionally says that his favorite soccer player is Cristiano Rolando.

After his injury, Lee Min Ho continued with his academics. In his second year of his high school career, he became interested in acting. He joined Starhaus Entertainment for training. After he finished Starhuas Entertainment, he auditioned for roles which got him in many television dramas. In 2006, his career was delayed because of a car accident where Lee Min Ho and his friend, Jung Il Woo, were injured.

Lee Min Ho became recognized in 2009 with his leading role in Boys Over Flowers as Gu Jun Pyo. The Boys Over Flowers usually received ratings over 30%. Some of his earliest dramas were Nonstop 5, Secret Campus, Love Hym, Get Up, and Mackerel Run. He has been in two films, Public Enemy Returns and Our School E.T. He advertised for many commercials such as Tugen, LG Teenring, Samsung, and Dunkin' Donuts.

He has recently played as Lee Yoon Sung in City Hunter, a Romance Action Drama. City Hunter's characters' roles were played by Lee Min Ho, Park Min Young, Lee Joon Hyuk, Hwang Sun Hee, Goo Hara, and Lee Kwang Soo. City Hunter was created by Tsukasa Hojo and written by Hwang Eun Kyung and Choi Soo Jin. It was broadcasted on SBS, began in May 25, 2011, and ended on July 28, 2011. City Hunter has quickly reached 18% ratings.
