Louis William Tomlinson

To me, Louis William Tomlinson is a hero. Louis is a member of the band One Direction. He is 21 years old and the oldest member of 1D. He has many talents and hobbies that include playing the piano, skateboarding, surfing, performing, and hanging out with the four other members of 1D.

I know Louis mostly from the internet. I learn about him through things like his tweets, the 1D YouTube channel, Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, and other Medias. I also learn about him and the other 1D members through my friends and other fans.

I believe that there are many things that a person needs to be a hero. Louis is confident, funny, caring, generous, and so much more. He has accomplished so much in the last few years. Some things that he has done include: winning third place in the X-Factor, hitting number one on the music charts, making a platinum album, quest starring in shows, making a movie, and gaining all of his incredible fans. These fans are called Directioners.

Louis and the rest of 1D have been working very hard for the Red Nose Day charity. This charity works in places like Australia and the UK by raising money for people with really tough lives.

1D recorded a cover of "One Way or Another" by Blondie. They used this song to make a music video. Instead of spending a lot on a music video, they decided to make it themselves and use the money that they saved and raised to give to the charity. They even had children from Ghana participate in the video.

Most of the members of 1D also went and visited children in Ghana that were starving or sick. They observed how they lived and encouraged them to live on. They made videos of their visits and asked audiences to text "YES" to 70005 to raise money for the kids. Louis even dyed his hair red to support the charity.

Louis has impacted my life because of all of his accomplishments and good deeds. 1D music inspires me and I really love the sound of his voice. He always works hard to please his fans and make people laugh.

Fans like to feel like they have a connection with their idols. US fans call them by their nicknames, communicate with them through social networking, and we always support them and everything they do.

Fans also tend to know a lot about their idols. Like how Louis was born in Doncaster on December 24, 1991. Or how he has brown hair and blue-green eyes, his favorite sing is "Who Let the Dogs Out," his parents are divorced, he has five sisters, and his girlfriend's name is Eleanor. His nicknames are Lou, the Sass/Swag Mastah from Doncastah, Boobear, Louis the Tommo Tomlinson, and more.

I know a lot about him because he is my idol, a hero, and I admire him. I believe that he is a hero not only to me but to millions of other fans around the world. He is also a hero to the people that he helped in the Red Nose Day charity along with the other members of One Direction.
