Brother Yun is one of the greatest evangelists and missionaries of all time. Yun worked as a missionary in China and in several other countries. He has created several dozen ministries and led thousands of people to the salvation gospel of Christ. Throughout his life he has been persecuted by government and civilians alike. Even as a child the government persecuted him because of his faith and beliefs. He has become wanted over dozens of provinces and finally went to prison.

While in prison, Brother Yun believed it was God's choice to put him there so that those in prison would be able to hear God's Message. Brother Yun would definitely be my hero because of his perseverance and faith. He has always been relentlessly attacked and persecuted even by friends and Christians alike. He has fasted for 74 days in prison (meaning to live without food or water) and was also tortured numerous times. However, despite the fact of the excruciating pain and suffering Brother Yun received, he still preaches the gospel today.

Since his times in China his ministries have grown worldwide and has also started the "Back to Jerusalem Movement." This movement is the goal of sending thousands of missionaries into the countries that still have not heard the gospel of Christ. Because of the many works of Brother Yun, he has become a hero to the Christian Faith and continues today to save countless others.

Brother Yun has done many deeds that were unimaginable to the normal person. After he was prosecuted and sentenced to prison, he escaped from the Zhengzhou Maximum Security prison (a prison from which no one had ever escaped). He stated how the voice of the Holy Spirit had called him to simply walk out of the prison gate. Risking from being shot to death on sight, Yun described how as he walked many of the doors were just left open and that none of the guards were able to see him; it was as if he was invisible even though they stared straight at him. In spite of the strange phenomenon many of the guards lost their jobs for the mishap. The Chinese Government stated that no help was given to Yun for his escape and many have confirmed this event by prisoners who shared the same cells.

Brother Yun still today is prosecuted all over the world however instead of the usual torture and insults, he is now being prosecuted throughout the web and through new media. Many have called him a con man that steals money from others under the guise of being a missionary. Others have called him a hypocrite claiming that many of his deeds were false and lies. However these are not true. Everything Brother Yun has done has been for the good of the people and their salvation. He has little or no money for himself and many close friends and leaders of Churches have testified of Brother Yun's amazing miracles.
