Lauryn Williams Has a lot of qualities. She shows these qualities on the track and off of it. She works hard, she has faith, and most importantly she will always try to follow her dream. She has had a lot of dilemmas in her life but she always keeps her head up and finds the best in the problem.

Lauryn Williams is a hero in my eyes. She is only 5'2 and has the second fastest time in the 100 meter race in the Olympics. She is a junior and attends the school of Miami Fl. When she made the Olympic team she almost couldn't go because of financial problems. Her neighbors and her friends raised enough money for her and her father to go to Athens in 2004. She has never a raced without her father’s supervision; Mr. Williams has kidney disease and had too arranged dialysis treatment in Athens as he was watching her daughter.

Let’s talk about Lauryn off the track she was born on September 11, 1986. She attended the school of Rochester and dominated in track. Her childhood was wonderful she says, even though her parents divorced and her dad fell ill from leukemia and lost his job. Since this occurred Lauryn and her father became even closer. She has never raced without him there to "coach" her.

I would call Lauryn a hero within. As T.S. Barron said a hero with in are people who have faced problems and over came them. Lauryn is 5'2 and runs one the fastest 100x meter in the world. Lauryn qualifies for the Olympics but couldn't go because of financial problems, but her neighbors and friends helped and Lauryn overcame that problem. Her father had to watch her play in Athens but had to arrange dialysis. She her and her father overcame that problem too.

Obviously has the fire to be the best she can be. Not every person is determined like Lauryn Williams and that is just one more reason why she is one of my hero's. I had the pleasure to tell you about my hero so how about Lauryn so maybe you would have the same feeling I do.
