A Lifeguard

This is an example of what happened to me

My hero is a lifeguard that works at Geauga Lake, Ohio. He is a hero because he saved my life. My hero is a man with dark brown hair. This is my hero because if it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t be alive.

It all started when I was on a very long and twisty slide. At that time I was only about 10 years old. So as I was going down the slide an idea popped up in my mind. The idea was to jump off of the lifesaver once I got in the water. Only, I didn’t know the water was nine feet deep. So once I got off, my whole body was submerged in water. I can remember trying to get to the top. I can’t really remember what happened after that because I passed out. My mom told me everything that happened. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have been here. That is why this man is my hero!
