My hero is my dad, Michael, otherwise known as Mike. My dad grew up on a street called Melwood, and has a brother, Steven. He also has two sisters, Kimberly and Cynthia. He's my hero, because when I grow up I want to work as an administrator. My dad has worked at Hoover, Burroughs, and Burbank High. He just got sworn in to go to Glendale High. He is very good at being the assistant principal, and I know that because I have been at his work a lot. I know my dad will be great at Glendale High.

I have helped him with all of the testing for his high school. I'm a pro at alphabetizing, and I'm great at putting the papers with the right periods. He helps me with softball. He got a net, a tee, and a lot of other stuff for softball, to help me get even better at softball. My dad also helps me with my homework. He used to be a science teacher, so he helped me a lot with that subject. My dad is the best at helping me with my homework, and if he doesn't get something, he asks one of his teachers at his school.

Another great reason why my dad is a hero is that he helps my sister, two of my brothers, and me with water polo. He used to be a water polo coach at Hoover High before he was an assistant principal. The first time I got in the water with my dad was when I was about six months old. Now he's teaching me how to play water polo. I learned how to swim in the beginning from my dad, but later from a swimming teacher. Sometimes when I complain that I don't want to play water polo anymore, he keeps encouraging me to play. When I egg beater, it gets really tiring. It really gets tiring when you're a goalie. But he keeps me afloat.

The last reason why my dad is a hero is that he cares and loves me. Without him, I wouldn't be complete. Whenever I do something wrong, he doesn't yell and scream at me, he just calmly tells me the right thing to do. Whenever I'm out with a friend, he always calls to make sure I know what time to get home, because he cares about me. He always knows when I'm upset, sad, discouraged, or happy. When I'm discouraged, he encourages me to try and try again. He always knows when to cheer me up. I love my dad.

My dad is the greatest hero in the whole entire world. He cares for me. He loves me. He is a great water polo teacher. He is my hero. I love my dad and he loves me.
