Coming to the United States and starting a new life was harsh, especially since my mom had to leave her family in Mexico. My mom is no ordinary mother, she is a special mother, a hero to me.

To begin, my mom was born in Atotonilco, El Grande, Mexico. My mother's childhood was happy. Although my mom was very ill she was usually delighted. My mom's mother would take care of her. She would give my mom her daily medications and take her to the doctor. My mother's parents inspired her because they had a great influence on her, especially her mother.

In addition, my mom gives good advice. She would always give great advice whenever I perform at the Salvation Army. She is a role model. Whenever I tend to do something I look up to my mother. My mother is brave, valiant, and courageous. My mother teaches me to do the good things or decisions but not the bad decisions. My mother wants me to be much greater than herself, she wants me to accomplish goals and go heights.

To conclude, I have been inspired by my mom because my mom would always think about me and I would always think about my mom. I care about my mother and she cares about me and that is what I love about my mother. Although my mother can be frustrated sometimes, she just wants to do the very best for me. My mom never gives up on me and she never will and that is what I also love about my mom. If my mom is having a bad day or not feeling well my mom and I would just talk. This makes me happy because my mom can always take a break from something and talk with me.

I am proud of many things in life which is especially my mom. Nothing has ever been easy in life, but my mom has been there to guide me. My mom puts herself in front of me and the one I can always count on. My mom is my mom, but also my hero.
