The "Can't be Tamed" girl, truly can't be tamed. This song applies to Miley Cyrus and that is why Miley Cyrus is my hero. She's always herself and she can never be changed. Never. You might think she's a bad thing, but everybody makes mistakes. I do, you do, teachers do, and believe it or not, even the president of the USA makes mistakes! Miley is a good person and inspires me and a few other kids who actually "get" music. Her songs have true meaning; she's done a whole lot of things for the World and its community. Always being herself, Miley Cyrus is my hero because of many ways.

Miley's real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus. Her Dad (Billy Ray Cyrus, the famous country singer) always called her Smiley which changed to Miley. Miley was born on November 23rd, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee. She grew up on a farm with her five siblings and parents (Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus) in Nashville. She attended Heritage Middle School until she got the part of Hannah Montana when she was only eleven years old. The part was for a thirteen-fourteen year old girl, but she won the part. I think that was amazing, because that takes hard work and a great dedication to what you want. As a child, her family's relationships were a big thing for her. She always did things with her family. It was probably very hard for her to face the fact that her parents were divorced when they divorced. Miley also enjoyed hanging out with friends, "It's lame when I'm hanging out with my friends and they're so busy taking pictures to put on Facebook, instead of enjoying what they're doing. You're gonna look back and have 10 million pictures, but you're not in one of them because you were too busy clicking away. I think it's best to stop telling people about it and enjoy the moment you're in yourself." Miley says. She still enjoys friends, even if Facebook is taking over the web today. She enjoyed helping out with the farm (especially the horses) and listening to Elvis Presley music. Miley's inspirations to become a singer are: Billy Ray Cyrus, Hilary Duff, Kelly Clarkson and her family members. "Destiny" decided to change her name to Miley (legally) when she was 15 because that was the name everybody called her and the name she was known for.

Miley Cyrus also had some problems in her life. She had a hole in her heart when she was a child, which that led to operations. Her parents got divorced (at age 18) and that's hard on just about everybody who's parents divorced. Miley Cyrus was cyberbullied a lot. People rumored about her online. Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and other social networking sites are a great way to bully Miley Cyrus on, plus many other great music artists. Even if people thought it was funny, it hurts. Badly. Miley sometimes gets sick of paparazzi! One time, one accidentally hit Miley's mom and that made Miley super mad. She went all off on the paparazzi. She wanted people to like her! Too bad, Miley Cyrus is a great musician and I think that she should be appreciated a little better from people because of that. Everybody makes mistakes and has problems but life is always full of smiles, flowers and candy if you have a positive attitude against your problems.

Miley Cyrus is a great musician, therefore she has a lot of accomplishments and contributions to the World us people live in. She wrote a book called Miles to go, which was an autobiography about her. Miley managed to get the part of Hannah Montana at age 11, even if it was meant to be for a 13-14 year old girl. Miley does a lot of charity work. Some of the foundations she has helped out are: Libby Ross (helps kids learn yoga), City of Hope, Red Cross, Make-A-Wish, Stand Up To Cancer, Feeding America, MusiCares, Clothes Off Our Backs, Blessings in a Backpack and many other charities/foundations. Also, to every concert ticket she sells, she donates to a charity $1 of that concert ticket. In her Best of Both World's Concert, she raised more than $1 Million dollars. These are great accomplishments and contributions for one girl to achieve.

Miley Cyrus has received many awards. She's received awards for many of her songs like, Can't Be Tamed, Party in the USA, Who Owns My Heart, Hoedown Throw Down and other songs. She was Hannah Montana, which inspired a ton of people from ages five-ninety years old. She also has her own clothing line and wrote an autobiography about herself. She was also in the TV and movies: Doc, Big Fish, Hannah Montana (a television show character if you didn't know), The Last Song, Bolt, Emperors New School, The Replacements, Dancing with the Stars, High School Musical extra, The Disney Channel Games and some holiday specials. In 2008 she was voted Most Popular Music Artist. In 2010 she was voted Fave Movie Star. In 2009 her song "The Climb" was voted favorite song from a movie. There was a bunch of other awards that Miley has won, been nominated for or is getting voted at the moment for. That shows she is one successful young lady.

Miley Cyrus has many character traits about her personality (and herself). One of her traits is that she is talented. She can sing, dance, act, songwriter and just be herself. Those things are very hard to do, but does she do it? Yes she does. Miley also loves; therefore she's a loving girl. Her relationships with her family members and friends meant so much to her. The relationships mattered so much; they couldn't be broken, famous or not. Miley Cyrus is beautiful, inside and out. She is beautiful inside because she is a great person (nice, loving, caring, etc.) and has one heck of a big heart… even if she did have a hole in her heart when she was younger. Miley is beautiful outside because everyone is and in my opinion, I think that her hair is gorgeous looking!!! These traits show kind things.

An important lesson kids can learn from Miley is that you can't be tamed. You can't be changed. Miley has spread the word out to the World saying "I can't be tamed..." in musical formation. Also, always be yourself like Miley is. Life is about finding out who you really are. Another lesson kids can learn from Miley is that when you know you're a good person in the heart, but people just can't notice it and look at you negatively, you just have to stop caring what other people think about you and be who you are, not what a magazine or a talk show tells who to be. You're not living your life for others, you're living your life for yourself. Miley is a big hero to me because of these lessons she has taught me. And that's amazing, considering that she isn't even a teacher.

"There's always gonna be another mountain, I'm always gonna wanna make it move. Always gonna be an uphill battle, sometimes I'm gonna have to lose. It ain't about how fast I get there, ain't about what's waiting on the other side, it's the climb." That's a great line that Miley has sung and that's why Miley Cyrus is my hero for many ways. I enjoyed learning more about her that I haven't already known. Heroes can be anyone, and Miley showed heroic actions throughout her musical and personal life. Miley is a great role model and that is why I chose her as my hero.
