Michael Dell

Michael Dell is the founder and CEO of Dell, Inc. As we all know Dell is a very good computer and laptop. Michael Dell is to me one of the greatest computer heroes the world has ever known. Here is a part of Michael's life.

Michael Dell's early life and education took place in Huston, Texas. He went to Herod Elementary School. Then at his high school level he went to Memorial High School. He had his first encounter with a computer at age 15 when he broke down a brand new Apple II and rebuilt it. He showed good instincts in the business field. He soon found $18,000 in an untapped customer base. Which gave him a BMW and he had a computer.

Then Michael looked into going to college. He attended University of Texas at Austin. While he was at college he started a company called PC's Unlimited. He was very successful in this business. He asked for a loan from his grandparents, dropped out of college at the age of 19 and started to run PC's Unlimited full time. It soon became Dell Computer Corporation, which then lead to Dell Inc.
