  The Man Of Peace
We may never be strong enough to be entirely nonviolent in thought, word and deed. But we must keep nonviolence as our goal and make strong progress towards it.(Mahatma Gandhi Quote." BrainyQuote. Xplore, 2001. Web. 08 May 2015). Who would have known that a hero must always possess peace and achievement and many other rare things in life that makes a him/her a hero. Furthermore, glory lies in the attempt to reach one's goal and not in reaching it.(Mahatma Gandhi Quote." BrainyQuote. Xplore, 2001. Web. 08 May 2015). Mahatma Gandhi was born as Mohandas Gandhi and he was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar, India. He studied law in London, England, but in 1893 went to South Africa, where he spent 20 years opposing discriminatory legislation against Indians..As a pioneer of Satyagraha, he became one of the major political and spiritual leaders of his time..Mahatma Gandhi was the primary leader of India's independence movement and also the architect of a form of civil disobedience that would influence the world. He began his activism as an Indian immigrant in South Africa in the early 1900s, and in the years following World War I became the leading figure in India's struggle to gain independence from Great Britain. His goal was to help poor farmers and laborers protest oppressive taxation and discrimination. He struggled to alleviate poverty, liberate women and put an end to caste discrimination, with the ultimate objective being self-rule for India. In 1914, Gandhi returned to India, where he supported the Home Rule movement, and became leader of the Indian National Congress, advocating a policy of non-violent non-cooperation to achieve independence. As years passed,Mahatma Gandhi was killed at age seventy-eight by a fanatic called Nathuram Godse in 1948.A hero is always a hero and a hero must always possess peace and achievement.Because each one of us has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances. But for achievement it's every worthwhile accomplishment, big or little,it always has its stages of drudgery and triumph: a beginning, a struggle, and a victory."Gandhi played a major role in the development of nonviolence and peace activities.Gandhi was the pre-eminent political and spiritual leader of India and the Indian independence movement. He is a role model for many people today and he's one of the most famous of all nonviolent activists. And he also made a large impact on the world through his work and that what makes him a hero.

Mahatma Gandhi is a hero because he was known as the peaceful man,who wanted peace to the world and who brought independence for India. After all,his returning to India was a pleasure, but Gandhi was instantly encouraged to join into the struggle for independence from the Empire and have his own power and changed violence into peace."Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment. - Mahatma Gandhi.''(Mahatma Gandhi Quote." BrainyQuote. Xplore, 2001. Web. 08 May 2015).He fought against the power of force. He transformed the minds of people to fight against injustice with peaceful means and non-violence.Mahatma Gandhi always wanted to give peace to people living around the world, but mostly his country because he struggled a lot until he gained what he always wanted which is the Indian's independence and freedom, but sometimes people should struggle to have what they always wanted. And that's what Mahatma Gandhi did to gain peace as he promised to his country."First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."(Mahatma Gandhi Quote." BrainyQuote. Xplore, 2001. Web. 08 May 2015).He redefined success. Without realizing it,he had found the secret of success,in addition he always told people that sometimes people like you, people hate you, people laugh at you,and they always want to fight their enemies which is you,but at last you will always win.So Gandhi sacrificed his own lucrative law practice which lead him to a simple life. But also he sacrificed his own lucrative law practice to share the pain of the powerless and destitute. And all the power he brought came to an end that india became a peaceful country. Not only did Mahatma Gandhi helped India to gain its independence but he helped fellow Indian people in South Africa who were faced with Apartheid.

Mahatma Gandhi is a hero because of his achievements, whatever he wants, he struggles and does his best to achieve his goal or dream. And as he always tell people you struggle at first but at last you'll have what you always wanted.Even though he achieved many things in his life, but sometimes its not always about achieving a thing without doing something to have it."Non-violence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind. It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man."(Mahatma Gandhi Quote." BrainyQuote. Xplore, 2001. Web. 08 May 2015).He proved that people can achieve the noble cause of liberty like he did,and justice and democracy for mankind without killing anyone, and without making a child an orphan by the damage of war.But also,he wanted everyone to be successful as he was and achieve anything they want. But at the same time people should put faith in god to achieve. And for god the quality is way more important and more pleased than quantity, that's why you should always think about the thing you want to sacrifice for and think what Mahatma Gandhi sacrificed to help people."Though we may know Him by a thousand names, He is one and the same to us all."(Mahatma Gandhi Quote." BrainyQuote. Xplore, 2001. Web. 08 May 2015).He won over the hearts of millions without reigning power. But also his success lead to him being admired throughout the countries.Mahatma Gandhi was positive throughout his whole life and which led him to people's heart.Gandhi was a peaceful strong man that nothing could stop achieving what he wants.

Mahatma Gandhi is a hero to me and to many people around the world because he never gave up in life until his death and he always puts people first before him in everything, and all he wanted was peace in his country and other countries.Gandhi's death was tragic because he always motivated people to know that there is purpose of being a hero and a purpose of everything in life. So,Gandhi inspires people to always live life in a peaceful way, because he wants every single person on earth to be safe and happy. But also he inspires me to never give up as life goes on no matter what the situation is, and always have faith in god.So smile, its the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside you as he always was.
