Many people have different heroes, but my hero isn't just any hero. He risked his life for my family. He sacrifices his life for me and my family members. He is the best of all my other heroes.
My dad's childhood was fun because my grandma and grandpa will teach him how to feed the chickens whenever they say, "Cock a doodle doo", a lot of times. One day they went to a pet shop. They were looking for the toughest dog there, and once they got the dog they named him Smokey. At first he was not playful at all when they got him. But, once Smokey started knowing my dad he was starting to get playful with him. They will have great times together like, they will always go to the park together and play around. My dad will train him to do a lot of stuff. My dad wanted to have his dog be a guard dog once my dad was done training him. My grandpa will teach my dad new things like how to fix cars, fix the engines, train the dog, feed the chickens, fix bikes, fix scooters, and fix T.V.'s. Until this day my dad still does the stuff my grandpa taught him to do.
One of my dad's heroic characteristics is brave because he sacrifices his life for me, my siblings, and my mom. He is always by my side whenever I need him. He is an overprotective dad like, whenever me and my siblings go outside he always says, "Watch out with the cars." He sometimes says, "Don't go in front of the cars." He started saying that because last time when my brother was playing soccer with his friends and when the ball went in front of a car my brother went running to go get it and the car almost hit him. Sometimes my dad is overprotective. Last but not least his other heroic characteristics is funny because he is always clowning with us and making us laugh like he says stuff in Spanish, he talks Cuban and it is funny because he is always getting me and my siblings mad. When he play fights with my brother and my brother gets mad all the time because my dad blocks my brother's hits. His final heroic characteristic is sometimes sad because on December 15th 2016, my grandma passed away because of liver disease.
My dad has inspired me by doing right things like, whenever he finds something that is not his he ask my siblings, and my mom if it is theirs and if it is not my brothers or sisters he just ask my mom, but sometimes it is hers so he stops asking if not then he just keeps asking people until someone says it is theirs. Another way my dad has inspired me is when he tells me, "Go to school and go to college and in the future do the right thing when something goes wrong." He also tells me, "DO NOT get involved with things that do not have anything to do with you." He's always encouraging me to do good in school and never give up with my work. Whenever we are on the freeway and we take an exit and we see homeless people asking for money and my dad gives them a few money to go buy something to drink or some food, that is why he is always telling me to go to school and go to college then get a job so in the future you can buy stuff you need.
The person that I am now to this day is all because the things my dad has taught me and the things I am right now is maturity, respectful, and nice. I am that way all because of my dad and that is why my dad is my hero.
