Hello readers, who is your Hero? My hero's name is Michael Jordan and he was born on February 17, 1963 and he grew up in Brooklyn, New York. One of Michael Jordan quotes was "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something, But I can't accept not trying." He was the greatest buzzer beater in the NBA history; people just can’t believe how he does it.
Michael Jordan got drafted in the NBA when he was in junior college. When he made the winning shot against the Tar-heels people then started noticing him. The Chicago Bulls drafted him and his number was #23, and was 2nd draft picked. After a couple of years he started making unbelievable shots and people couldn’t believe him. Michael Jordan was the greatest player of all time and people from all over the world came and watched him dunk and do some amazing shots from half court to the free-throw line.
Some people knew that he was going to be the best of the best, like Michael Jordan himself. He was averaging 35.0% from the field and 53.5% from shooting. Michael Jordan was only playing from his mid-career of playing basketball. With all of those amazing shots from Michael Jordan, the Chicago Bulls advanced to the Eastern Conference, and they won their 6th championship titles.
Michael Jordan was brave because after his father's death from a robbery, he still continued playing basketball until he won his 6 championship and it was Father's Day too. He’s also determined because he didn’t give up basketball that easy, he worked hard off-season. Another characteristic of a hero for Michael Jordan is fearless because he isn’t afraid of anything about basketball, and he also said that he likes fears, he can overcome his fear by telling jokes to his teammates. Powerful is another type of characteristic of hero for Michael Jordan because he always thinks positive and he’s also the most powerful Guard/Forward in the NBA.
I pick Michael Jordan as my hero because I want to be like him when I grow up. He can do almost anything with a basket ball, he can elevate to the basket without looking at the basket. I am a big fan of Michael Jordan, I also pick Michael Jordan as my hero because he cares about people that need help, he also built a Basketball center for kids that need them. Michael Jordan’s team donated $5 million to build the center and also $2 million from Michael Jordan himself, and he also named this center in his father's memory.
