Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was born in January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia, and he died in April 4, 1968. Major Accomplishments King had was he was the youngest person to receive a Nobel Peace Prize. King got a Congressional gold medal. King also received a Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Obstacles King had to overcome. King was born when black people did not have the rights they have today. M.L., as he was called, first experienced racial discrimination.

Traits King had King was loyal he stood up for black people there rights. King sacrificed himself for all the black people in the world. King believed that black people should do what ever white people do like vote.

King gave up his life for all the black people in the world. King received three medals. King gave black people the rights they have today like to vote.
