Mikey Murphy is a 17 (turning 18 on May 12) year old social media star best known for his YouTube channel. He has over 700,000 subscribers and gains more and more every day. He is from New Jersey but moved to LA when he was about 16. He currently lives in an apartment with his best friend Luke Korns who is also a fellow Youtuber.

A while ago, Mikey took the decision of getting his very first tattoo. The tattoo on his arm said "pursuit of happiness". He got it as a daily reminder to to pursue happiness in life. Although he doesn't have the "perfect" life, Mikey is a very positive person and always looks at the bright side of any situation. His optimism is what inspires others to be more positive.

Mikey was also involved in a project called The Thirst Project. This project is to help collect money to build wells and provide healthy clean water to people who don't have access to it. He collected money with the help of his fans. In return, his fans would get prizes such as posters, merchandise, or even just talking to him for a day. The prize depended on the amount of money someone would donate, and although these prizes weren't a lot, it was all he had to give back. This is an example of someone using their YouTube channel for a good cause, knowing that 100% of funds raised went directly to the campaign.

Lastly, Michael's YouTube videos put smiles on thousands of people's faces and make them happy. His simple 5-8 minute videos once a week can make a big difference in someone's day. This isn't something any person is capable of but he manages to do this for everyone who looks up to him. This requires time and patience, which not everybody has. He also spends his own money to buy materials for better quality videos and to travel to meet his fans all over America and the world.
