In honor of Michelle Obama, I did research about this hero in “Biography Today”. I chose Michelle because my friend was researching Barack Obama and I thought it would cool to do his wife. After the research, I was glad did because I learned so much about her.

Michelle was born on January 17, 1964. She was born in her home town of Chicago, Illinois. Her full name is Michelle LaVaughan Robinson Obama. Michelle’s dad’s name is Faser Robinson.

Michelle had very good education which helped her out greatly later in life. She went to Whitney M. Young Magnet School. Once she moved on from Whitney M. she then went to Princeton University. Michelle graduated from Princeton, and took a job at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Michelle was more interested in politics so when she was done in the Medical field she became a lawyer. Even when she was a lawyer she still wanted to move up. So she began a journey into politics. She and her husband are most famous for being the first African Americans to live in the White House.

Before Michelle and Barack got married she had two tragedies. Her father, Fraser, died, and a few months later her very close friend from college died. Once she was married, she had two children, both daughters. One is named Malia, and the other is Natasha. That did not stop Michelle from supporting her husband through the election process. Once her husband was elected she still stayed in politics, but she started to help more charities and fundraisers. Michelle is still alive and still helping her husband.
