Michelle Obama has many magnificent characteristics, but hardworking and inspiring are some of the most common traits seen at the surface. Michelle inspires teens to make a change and better themselves, but one of her most prevalent is how she exposed them to schooling. "... working to expose students to college and career opportunities; helping them understand financial aid eligibility; encouraging academic planning and summer learning opportunities." (The White House). Michelle inspires teens around the country to go to school/college, by creating dozen of new opportunities for a better education. She finds the importance of showing teens what it means to strive in life, and the benefits of having an education and getting better, higher profile jobs. She's also telling the youth to have a mind of their own, they have a voice, and they should use it. "'I want our young people to know that they matter, that they belong. So don't be afraid. You hear me, young people? Don't be afraid. Be focused. Be determined. Be hopeful. Be empowered. Empower yourself with a good education. Then get out there and use that education to build a country worthy of your boundless promise. Lead by example with hope; never fear'" (Bio.com). Michelle Obama teaches the next generations to speak their minds and to never be afraid of what is yet to come, but rather to walk with your head high and show the world that what you have to say is always important. The children are always the future, and they are no less than anyone else. They too should say what is on their mind and grow up to change the world, rather than sit quiet and never speak their minds.

Michelle Obama held fantastic campaigns in her eight years of being First Lady. "By the middle of the second term, she had become more ambitious-launching two education initiatives, Reach Higher and Let Girls Learn-and over the past year and a half finding her metier, turning herself into the First Lady of Popular Culture, mastering social media." (Vogue). Michelle Obama started extremely important campaigns in which supported the education that girls deserve, alongside the other numerous issues Michelle spoke about. All the campaigns were successful and supported or helped with many problems around the world. At the end of Barack Obama's presidency, Michelle had resolved many issues and was one of the most impacting First Ladies thus far. "She was relaxed, emotional, sentimental. Her uncertainties laid to rest. Her rhythm was subtler, because she no longer needed it as her armor, because she had conquered" (The New York Times). Michelle Obama worked eight long years to push issues that were important , and now, at the end of President Obama's term, Michelle steps away from First Lady confidently, and with her head high.
