Myra Ramos

A hero to me is someone who is brave enough. A person that tells you what is good for you and what is bad for you. My hero that I’m picking for this essay is my friend sister Myra Ramos. I picked her because she is always telling me what to do and what not to do. Myra has never done anything bad. She has never gotten arrested.

One of the things that Myra does is help me be on track in school. Every time I get homework I go to her house so she could help me. Sometimes I just do my homework on my own. She tells me to not talk during class. She says “that it’s disrespectful when you are talking while the teacher is talking.” She knows everything that happens in Vista. She always tells me to never be late, to wake up early and go to sleep early. Once when I got in trouble she told me not to get in trouble again.

She tells me to keep away from drugs. It’s bad for you to smoke because it could mess up your lungs. You might even get asthma from smoking or doing drugs. Without drugs or alcohol you would be able to live longer. You would feel stupid and people may do things to you and you would never remember what happened because of the alcohol.

She is a good mother to her son. She never treats her child bad because she doesn’t want to abuse her kid. She loves her kid a lot and there is no day when she leaves her kid alone. She only leaves her kid alone with her parents when it's an emergency and when she not able to take him. She is usually 24/7 with her son. She feeds him every time he is hungry. She would do anything for her own child. She makes sure that if the baby is sick to give her baby medicine right away before it gets worse.

You don’t have to have powers in order to be a hero. A hero is someone that is brave enough to tell you things you are supposed to do. Someone that helps you in things you need help in. A hero is someone that protects you when you get in big problems. A hero isn’t always about a person defeating a villain. It is about what they do for you.
