Maria Teresa of Calcuta

I think that a hero for me is a person that i admire for all the things he sacrifices for other people to reach his goals. A hero is a person that makes something special for someone or discovers something, they are people that are distinguished in extraordinary actions.

My hero is Mother Teresa of Calcutta, because she dedicates her life to other. She is an excellent example to follow to make a better world. Mother Teresa was born in Yugoslavia, her real name was Agnes, when she was 8 years her father died but her mother always told stories of missionaries, so she was inspired in that people who give their life to god and charity and to help the needs of the poor people. she became a nun after join the missionary.

All her life she looked at people's needs, she worked harder every day, no matter her pains of the illness. She says that Jesus suffered worst and never complained, so her pain was nothing, she never stopped helping poor people. She always said "I see God in every human being." She installed a center to help people called Missionaries of Charity and orphanages and school of the poor; of all around 25 countries.

She won prizes like the Nobel Peace prize and all money she won she gave up to these centers. She died when she was 87 years, in September 5, 1997. Even so, she left us an example of charity of helping and giving ourselves to the others.

She is my hero because she always helped people and she never gave up. She never judged people, she always found the time to help them. She always wanted the best for everyone and looked at the person that we have inside us, for me she is a great example of life.

She has influenced my life because i make a space in my life for helping people and never judge to make charity and to invite friends and people to join me and help the peoples in need. I realize how difficult it is in life for others and some people that no have charity for them.
