Manuel Erasmo Vasquez Jr.

  What is a hero? A hero to me is someone who is kind and caring, loving, stands up for others, encourages people to do their best, and helps people in any way they can. When I think of a hero, I think of my dad, Manuel E. Vasquez Jr. He is all of those things and more.

 My dad grew up in a family without a dad. Which is surprising because he is such a great dad. I truly do believe in him. He encourages me in anything that I do, whether it be big or small. One day, I was playing a video game and I could not pass a mini game. My dad walked by me and saw that I was having trouble. He just told me to believe in myself and to say that I can pass it. That just goes to show that no matter what I am doing my dad wants to help and cheer me on. 

  There are so many things that my dad has done for me and my family that I can't name them all! He supports and loves everyone with all of his heart. He works hard to make money for my family. I truly believe that he is the best dad in the whole world. I love you Dad!
