For the MY HERO project I chose Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan is, I think, a very successful and good former NBA basketball player. Michael Jordan played on the Chicago Bulls and also the Washington Wizards. Michael retired from the Bulls in the beginning of 1993-94 to pursue a dream of baseball. When that dream didn't work out he went back to the Bulls in 1995, and led them to three more championships. Jordan retired once again in 1999 but returned in 2001 for two more NBA seasons. But he didn't return to the Bulls, he went to the Washington Wizards. Michael Jordan has five MVP awards, ten all-NBA first team designations, nine all-defensive first team honors, fourteen NBA all-star game appearances,three all-star game MVP awards, ten scoring titles, three steals titles, six NBA finals MVP awards and the 1988 NBA defensive player of the year award. Also he holds the NBA records for highest career regular-season scoring average and highest career scoring average. All that is very awesome I believe and so do all of his fans, which there are plenty of!

Jordan is currently living in Elworths Lake, Florida. When Michael was younger he lived in Wilmington, North Carolina. Michael Jordan is currently alive. Michael Jordan was born on February 17, 1963. He went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As you might expect, he played on the college basketball team.

I picked Michael Jordan because he is a wonderful and successful person. The reason I think he is a very successful person is because he has won so many awards and most of all he is a wonderful basketball player! I think he is a wonderful person because he has raised three children, Jeffery, Marcus and Jasmine, all while being an NBA player. He has contributed so much to the world of basketball. Michael even made it into the basketball hall of fame. On September 11 of 2009. Jordan is a great influence on everyone all over the world. Michael has shown one really great thing, you can do anything you set your mind to!
