The greatest basketball player of all time. With outstanding dunks from the free throw line, he earned the title "Air Jordan" and "His Airness". Earning five MVP awards, ten All NBA first team designations, nine All- Defensive First Team honors, fourteen NBA All- Star appearances and much more, Michael had an insane average of 30.12 points per game. His full name is Michael Jeffery Jordan and he was born February 17th, 1963. From Brooklyn, New York. He lead the Chicago Bulls to six national championships. Enrolled in the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 1981, he was singled out as the NCAA college player of the year in 1983. This goes to prove that Michael Jordan was the greatest basketball player of all time. His determination, motivation, and heart to believe is what allowed him to succeed.
His determination was one of the major reasons for his success. If he was able to push through how many times he failed, he could get through anything. His abnormal amount of determination is a huge part of what got him where he is right now. Michael Jordan knew what he wanted, so he pushed until he got it. Not many people could go through what he did and be where he is today. He and his life are just remarkable.
The motivation it would have taken, to get him this far, came from friends, family, and fans. Most people wonder what motivated him the most, to become what he is now. I believe that what motivated him to come this far and never accept defeat on the way was his dad. He believed that before his dad passed away he would've never wanted Michael to give up his basketball career. His game, determination and motivation are what brought him this far. But the key to his success is the heart of the game.
Michael Jordan has the heart to believe, so he succeeds. Most say he was born with his basketball talent, but he worked for every last bit leading up to where he is now. Believe it or not, he was cut from the Basketball team his sophomore year of high school. Coming from failure, he never quit. Quitting was the last thing on his mind. When he fell down he got right back up and tried again. "Some wish it happened, some want it to happen, and others make it happen."

Yes, Michael Jordan was a very talented basketball player. But not a single person in this world is capable of getting anywhere near where he is without the determination, motivation, and the heart to believe. These are all the main reasons he succeeds. Sure, his talent won games, but, it's teamwork and intelligence that win championships. "You must expect great things of yourself before you can do them."

I am probably one of your biggest fans. The biggest thing that I admire about you is that you never give up, and you’re always inspiring others to keep going and give 110% until they can’t go any longer. You are the greatest basketball player to ever live in my opinion. Just by watching from when you played it inspires me to get up and get better at basketball. Although I am not the best basketball player I still enjoy playing pick up games with all of my friends. And when I do something worth remembering I say “Oh that was a Michael Jordan.” I just wanted to say thank you for the motivation to get up and play basketball. Your inspiration to me and other people is insane. When it comes to basketball, without a doubt, you have the biggest heart on the court. “I’ve failed over and over in life and that is why I succeed.” Whatever you’re doing now doesn’t matter, remember the game, remember the heart, remember the name.
