Mollie Mackler

My hero is Mollie Mackler. Mollie is 20 years old. She is a junior lacrosse goalie at Duke University. In high school she went to Longmeadow and was on the varsity lacrosse team.

What makes Mollie Mackler my hero is that she follows through on her dream of being at a division 1 college. She also is on the honors roll at Duke University. She is a role model because she shows that if you believe in your dream, you can achieve whatever you set your mind to.

Mollie Mackler is one of the better athletic keepers of the goal. She is the best because she does all the right stands and positions of a great goalie. In the game she always looks at the ball and she helps players to see cutters. In the intensity of the Duke lacrosse season, Mollie started in the game as a sophomore at Duke. In this division to start as a goalie as only a sophomore is a big thing.

Mollie has made a difference in my life as in many other people's because it shows that you can be the best at whatever sport you play. Also besides all the practice every night she can still get straight A’s and keeps up on her homework.
