Mike Richards

My hero is Mike Richards. Mike's a hero to me because he has inspired me to play hockey harder and better. Also, I’ve been to his house and saw all his stuff when he gave me a tour of his home. Mike also has the same birthday (February 11) as me, so it is pretty awesome. Mike has two homes.

He lives in Kenora, Ontario and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mike Richards plays for the Philadelphia Flyers so that’s why he lives in Philadelphia for the winter and in the summer he lives in Kenora. Mike likes to hang here on Lake of the Woods.

Mike got a gold medal in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics for hockey. Mike is number 18 on all of the teams he has played on. He has a lot of talent for a hockey player. Mike can take big hits so that is pretty cool because I like watching big hits in hockey.
