A hero is one who never gives up and allways is tryng, has faith in his own and never disappoints others. That hero is Donovan McNabb. He has diabetes but that doesn't stop him from being an exceptional Philadelphia Eagle.

Donovan McNabb was born to a poor family on November 1976 in Chicago Illinois. He is the quarterback of the Eagles of Philadelphia in the National Football League. He has the jersey number 5. He started to play for the Eagles in 1998. That year he won the rookie of the year. In 2004 he helped the Eagles to win the National Conference championship and that same year he won the offensive player of the year.

He has made foundations and collaborated with other foundatoins to help people. The foundations are DM5, DM5 ALL-STARS KIDS CLINIC and TAKE A PLAYER TO SCHOOL, DM5 GOLF CLASSIC.

He is my hero because he is black, he helps a lot of people with diabetes and he deserves the respect of all. These days, few people have good feeling for and do something to help people in need instead of going for the easy money. Donovan McNabb cares about others and is an excellent person.

I know that McNabb is a real hero because I can feel it.
