Anna Mei

When you think of heroes you think of someone that saves people's lives, like a policeman or firefighter. My hero might not be someone that saves a million lives, but I know that she will always save my life whenever I am in danger. My hero is Anna Mei; she lives in Braintree.

You are probably wondering how we met because we live so far away from each other. Well we met in a Chinese summer program called K.K.C.S (kwong kow Chinese school). I was working as a volunteer, and she was one of the older students in the program. Her brother was volunteering too, and he introduced me to her. Ever since that day, we have become best friends. Anna is there when I need her understanding, and when I tell her about important things that are happening in my life. She is kind to everyone that she meets.

Anna Mei is always going to be there for me because she cares for me, and knows how to treat my wounds. One time I told her this really long and confusing story about what happened that day and she still understood me, and when I tried to tell my cousin about what happened, she was lost in the middle of it. She understands what is going on with my life, and she wants to help me with all my problems. She is an honest friend and tells me if I am doing something wrong or right. She is the friend that I trust most. She is always there for me, and I know that I do the same thing for her.

Anna is the kindest person I know, she is so nice to everyone, even strangers and homeless people. She always has a positive attitude. Even if she is in a bad mood, she would not just go yelling at people to get away from her. She would say it kindly, and say that she is not feeling well. The kindness that she shows me puts a smile on my face. She never starts a fight or an argument. She never loses her temper or uses profanity. Yes it’s true, no profanity!

Anna Mei might not be a worldwide hero that everyone can look up too, but I know I that I always will. Knowing that she is there for me is what a hero is to me. Anna is as glorious as the sun setting.
