Michael Jeffrey Jordan

A hero is a person who is a leader and a good person. A hero doesn't give up. The hero that I have choosen is Michael Jordan, one of the best basketball players in the NBA history. I will explain why Michael Jordan was chosen to be my hero; there are many reasons why he is my hero. Michael had a lot of dedication to basketball and he became one of the best.

Michael Jordan is a famous basketball player. He was born on Febuary 17, 1963. Jordan's uniform number is 23. Michael's first season in the NBA was in 1984-1985. He had an average 28.2 points per game. Michael also got the Rookie of the Year award. Micheal became the Bulls all-time leading scorer and set records, such as the most points in a play off game(63 points, 1986 season) and highest scoring average for an NBA championship series(41 pionts per game in the 1993 finals).

Michael had a wife for 12 years and her name is Juanita. She filed for divorce and asked for custody of their three children in January 2002, after he returned to the NBA. He has written books and has helped young children. He retired from the NBA in April of 2003. Jordan starred with Bugs Bunny in the 1996 feature film Space Jam. Michael Jordan was a hero because he never gave up and became one of the 50th best NBA basketball players in all NBA history.
