At some point there may be an unlikely hero to save your life. One of these unlikely heroes is Mila the beluga whale. She is a very brave and caring whale for saving someone's life. Mila is a resident at Polar Land Aquarium in China where they held a free diving competition in the beluga’s tank. Diver Yang Yung entered the competition with no breathing equipment.

After entering the frigid cold water with no breathing equipment, she all of a sudden got severe leg cramps under the water. Nearby beluga residents Nicole and Mila sensed danger. Mila then immediately went to the rescue. Yung said “I began to choke and sank even lower and I thought that was it for me – I was dead. Until I felt this incredible force under me driving me to the surface.”

Mila used her dolphin like nose to carry her to the surface. After bringing her up to the surface Yung survived. She definitely owes a thank you to this beloved whale and now more people go to the aquarium just to see the famous beluga, Mila.

Mila is indeed the most courageous beluga whale there is. She definitely cares about others like every hero should. This concludes the amazing story of Mila the Wonder whale.
