Amedeo Clemente Modigliani

For some a hero is someone like Superman or like another superhero of television with superpowers and all that kind of stuff, but for me a hero is someone who teaches me something important for me to change my life in a positive and productive way, although he is a common person without superpowers.

The name of my hero is Amedeo Clemente Modigliani. He was an Italian artist born in 1884. He enriched European culture with his sculptures and paintings. I like his paintings because they are elegant, but at the same time simple.

He studied art at Florence. When he moved to Paris he met a beautiful woman named Jeanne Hébuterne, and with the pass of the time she became the love of his life. Then, they had a pretty daughter named Jeanne, like her mother. Modigliani worked hard and persevered until he got married with Jeanne.

Since he was a child, he felt ill of tuberculosis, an incurable disease then, that with time became worse, causing him to die in 1920, some days after his marriage.

When I saw his movie my life changed, because I learned many things, like being perseverant and fighting for something until I have it, and to never lose my objective by anything. Another thing that we have to consider is that he was a faithful person with his friends, and always carried out what he promised.
