I think a hero is a person or an animal that helps people who need it and doesn’t care about the person’s conditions, someone who doesn’t help to be famous but because he or she wants to. I chose Mother Teresa.

She was born in Macedonia. Her real name was Agnes. Mother Teresa’s father died when she was eight years old so her mother raised her as a Roman Catholic. At the age of 12 she decided to follow a religious life. Mother Teresa went to India in 1929 and started learning how to become a nun. She took her solemn vows while serving as a teacher in Calcutta.

Mother Teresa had rescued 37 children trapped in a hospital on fire. She had traveled to help hunger in Ethiopia, Radiation victims at Chernobyl and earthquake victims in Armenia. She opened missionaries of Charity Brothers home in Triennia. She had operated 517 missions in more than 100 countries. She grew from twelve to thousands serving as a nun, because of all these she is my hero. She is important because she really took care of people who needed help and she really made a change in the world.

I would like more people to be like her because she is extremely kind and if everybody takes her as a role model the word would be better.
