Who is hero? Hero is a veteran who fought for his birthplace, an astronaut, a firefighter who saved thousands of lives or just a kind and brave man who makes a lot of valiant feats. These people deserve respect and honor. However, there are people who do not have some parts of the body or have rare diseases, but they do not despair and they continue to live and enjoy life. These people became heroes for their own unimaginable achievements, their moral support to other people and their constant desire to move life. One of these people is a man who was born with a rare disease. This is Nick Vujicic.

Nicholas James Vujicic was born in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia. Now he is a Christian evangelist and well-known motivational speaker, who helps thousands of people to overcome their difficulties of motivation. But this great man was born with phocomelia, a rare disorder characterized by absence of legs and arms. He has two small and deformed feet, one of which he calls his "chicken drumstick" because of its shape. Originally, he was born with the toes. An operation was performed to separate the toes so that he could use them as fingers to grab, turn a page, or perform other functions. At first, Nick's parents Dushka and Boris Vujicic could not believe that their baby was born without limbs. They thought that he would not survive, but parental love made a miracle. Parents did their best to develop Nick's abilities. Dushka and Boris invented various accessories to facilitate Nick's life.

Nick Vujicic grew up, studied, progressed and overcame many difficulties. He learned to walk, swim, ride a skateboard, type on computer and write. But when he was ten years old he despaired and decided to end his life. But when he imagined his funeral, his weeping parents who loved him so much, he wasn't able to commit a suicide. He understood that life was precious. One day Dushka told him about a preacher who was an invalid and who instilled faith in people's hearts. Then the boy decided to become a public speaker. Therefore, this decision changed his life forever. A desire to live, an amazing strength of spirit and the support of his family, helped Nick to find himself. Nick received two higher education. When he was 19 years old, he was offered to speak to students. It was his first experience. The speech lasted for 7 minutes and already after 3 minutes all girls cried. One weeping girl climbed on stage and cried on his shoulder. She said that nobody had not told her that she was as beautiful as she was.

Now Nick Vujicic is President of the charitable organization, Christian evangelist and simply a happy man who achieved a lot in life. He overcame his despair, difficulties, learned to appreciate life and see the best. He has visited 20 countries and this is not a limit. Nick helps and motivates people and saves lives by his motivation. He also has a beautiful and lovely wife Kanae Miahare and two healthy sons.

I respect Nick Vujicic and admire his achievements. He is amazing man!
