Everyone has a hero in their mind. Some people think a hero is a person who can do the things that other people can’t do. Others think a hero is a person who contributes to the world. However, in my opinion Nick Vujicic is my hero. Because he is a person who has positive attitude to his life, worked hard to reach his goal and gave hope to others that they could be regarded as a hero.

Nick Vujicic has a positive attitude to his life. He doesn’t have legs and arms since he was born. No one knows why it would happen, not even the doctor. Although he is disabled, he still tries to do everything and wants to be treated as normal people. In addition, when someone pulled him down, he was not influenced by them and remained himself. For example, his classmates laughed at his physical disabilities, he was not defeated by them and thought his handicapped body was a gift from God instead. Also, he learnt how to dress up, how to write and how to eat by himself. As we know, everything is hard to begin. Nick practiced to do these things for a long time. He said he had failed for about thousands of times till he can do these skillfully. Nick Vujicic demonstrated the positive attitude to his life.

On the other hand, Nick Vujicic worked hard to reach his goals. When he was a student in high school, he studied harder than any other students in order to prove himself. Then he became the president of student council and did a very good job. Also, he went to the university and got two university degrees. He thought that was not good enough so he learnt to ride, drum, swim, play football and so on. He is so amazing that he can do these unbelievable things. Thus, he was awarded The Outstanding Youth in Australia. Through his hard-working, Nick can almost do all the things like normal people or even more than them. He proved anyone can reach their goals no matter who they are and how difficult the goals are.

Finally, Nick Vujicic gave hope to others to never give up. When he became a speaker to travel around the world, he spoke to people about how he got through these difficult times and when he felt that is the end of the world, what else can he do to make him feel better. As a speaker, he used his experience to tell anyone no matter what happened no matter how hard it could be, we should never give up and make it through. In addition, when he finished his speech, he hugged everyone in order to get them faith. He said: "As long as you believe, then you can.” Therefore, every time I felt afraid or lost direction, I thought about Nick Vujicic. I’m so lucky compared to him so I can’t be beaten by fate and I should stand up again to face these difficulties. I believe I can make it through one day. Nick Vujicic’s speech gave hope to others and taught them to never give up. All the good things are worth to persist.

In conclusion, Nick Vujicic has good qualities and also he contributed to the world. Not only does he have the positive attitude to his life and worked hard to reach his goals, but also he tried his best to help others. There is no doubt that Nick Vujicic can be thought of as a hero. I will treat him as my model and to be a better person like him.
