Kim Nguyen

My name is Alvin. I will be writing about my hero. A Hero is a role model. It is also a person who cares for others instead of her/himself. My hero is Kim Nguyen. The reason I chose my mom is because she was always there for me. The other reason is that she always inspires me to go on with my life. Also, she has cared for me since I was born.

My mom,” Kim Nguyen,” had a good life. She was born in Vietnam. She came to America when she finished collage in Vietnam. When she got here, she got a job right away. She learned English by someone teaching her.

She learned full English in a year. When she learned English, she started working on nails. So she went to a nail school to work on it. In about 3 months, she got her degree. So then, she started working in a nail shop. Her hardest thing she had to do is to learn English.

The reason why she is a hero to me is because she saved a poor person from starvation. She gave him 100 dollars for food and other stuff for him. Not only had she cared for herself, but for a poor person. The other thing is that she saved me from a big fight that happened on the street. She believed me that the kid started it. So she went to tell his parents. That’s why she is my hero.

That’s why she is my hero. Hero is that the person that has a heart to help people when needed. My mom Kim Nguyen, showed that. She has a heart caring for another people when needed. That’s why she is my hero.
