by Mana from Sriracha

What is "hero"? A hero is someone who does something brave or good which people respect or admire about them.

In 1524, he was born in Nagoya castle in Owari as the third son of the Nobuhide. He was raised as a successor but he wore clothes of a lord. So people called him "bonehead" and he spent his time around young people, without distinction of rank. His caretaker was worried about his actions. However, he could not understand why he could not spend time with ordinary people even though they made rice for everyone. In 1551, his father died. Nobunaga threw incense to Buddhist memorial at the funeral. Vassals blamed his caretaker. Then he killed himself to realize Nobunaga has an awareness of being a lord of Oda's castle. Nobunaga decided to become the best daimyo in Japan. He killed his younger brother, Nobuyuki because Nobuyuki wanted kill him to become a lord of Oda's castle. He fought a lot and won so his name became famous. He used who have competent without distinction of rank. That's why he could make bigger his power. He spent time with ordinary people when he was young. So he knew what he should do to make good country.

He was interested in Western culture. He adopt new things for the betterment of the country. He introduced tea to Japan. He is very important for Japan.

People think Nobunaga is the worst samurai but I've never thought so. I learned about Nobunaga since I was in elementary. He was from our hometown. Some people say Nobunaga killed many people so people thought that he's a bad samurai. However, killing people was normal and ordinary to people in their generation. They killed each other and it was not a big deal because there was no law. He was kind and clever and amazing! He became leader in Japan. I think all people hope to become at the top so people admire him. And he always at the top in the ranking that "Who is your favorite person in Japanese history. " He is my hero and also our hero.
