My mom cheers me up when i'm down. |
My hero is not the kind of person you could find on the news everyday or on thousands of websites but in my mind and heart she is more than my mom, she's my.....HERO! She works in a factory but she went to school and finished college and got her diploma and is raising enough money so that she owns her own daycare. That is what my hero does. But most important thing that she does is be my mom. She is not just my mother, she's my best friend.
This one event that changed my life forever. The time of the Isats were near and I was still feeling negative about myself and I thought I couldn't make it until i walked to the kitchen in my house and found an envelope that read: Believe in yourself. I was surprised. I opened it and it was a bracelet that my mom had that said, "Good luck, you can do it." But I still didn't feel positive about my Isat scores, but I know that she would do anything to make me feel that I can do it.
So she took me out and bought me stuff and helped me study for the Isat and blah, blah, blah, you get the picture. But what really changed me was that she tried really hard to make me believe in myself. So after two days passed I was confident in myself and was ready to say "I will rock the isat!!!" just because my mom believed in me and because she made me feel like I could do it. Also she'll always be there for my ups and downs. My mom changed me and the way I think about myself today as proud, confident and all because of my hero, my mom.
The world really didn't change my hero in any way, except in her childhood. When my hero was little ,her parents died and she had to manage living on her own since she was twelve years old. But she became successful in life.

And so that's how my hero became my hero.
