Ozvaldo Jeanty is one of the greatest CIS men's Basketball players, maybe ever. In the 5 years he played, he won 5 CIS national championships when he played on the Carlton ravens. He was also a three time MVP candidate and won it three times. His friends on the team were Aaron Dornakamp, Stu Turnbull, Ryan bell and Jean Emanual Jean marie. He was studying business in school. He was born in Ontario August 1 1983

Ozvaldo was quickly given the nickname The Wizard of Oz. After being named The country's top male student athlete of the year because he was so good. He was so amazing he led his team to a 101 and 4 record. He is the first Carleton athlete to win the prestigious prize. Osvaldo says that it's not the awards that keep him going, to him it's all about competing.

Osvaldo Jeanty is one of my favorite basketball players because of his heart. He is one of the nicest basketball players I know. He has so much heart and it turns out it paid off by winning 5 national championships. He is a champion. That is why he is one of my favourite basketball players, because of his heart.

Osvaldo Jeanty has the heart of a tiger. He has worked so hard to play professionally in Europe that one of his training habits was shooting 1500 shots a day. Some of his other habits are listening to song lyrics before games to keep him focused. His family is originally from Haiti and he has a French background but he went to an English speaking school. His favorite song is Summer Nights. His favorite food is his mom’s cooking. His favorite TV show is Alias or Fresh Prince of Bel-air. The other sports he plays are soccer, volleyball and handball. His favorite player is Michael Jordan. Osvaldo Jeanty is my hero because he turned the Carleton Ravens team around. He is a small guy but has a big heart and he shows that if you work hard you will succeed. That is why he is my hero.
