Paul McCartney was not a hero for saving lives like in movies but instead writes and sings songs. He used the money for charities and people in need of shelter, food, and medicine. Paul was born on June 18, 1942. He joined the Beatles in 1960 and the band broke up 10 years later in 1970.
Paul McCartney and the Beatles created a new type of music called Rock and Roll that brought joy and happiness to who liked the new music. Rock and Roll was upbeat and motivating. Paul's music inspired people to make and write music like his. He didn't keep the money only for himself either.

"Paul McCartney wasn't just playing for the money to keep to himself, but he donated lots of the money he earned to charity" (Julien from Lachute). "He sends money to charities for the people in need of food, shelter and medicine" (Julien from Lachute). The Majority of the money he earned would go to those charities.
A hero to me is someone that inspires, motivates you to do something, someone to live up to. Paul McCartney made motivating and upbeat music in the 60's through 70's and is still alive today to do so. In an article of "The Guardian" " I threw the speech away and told the audience of my desire to be a rock'n'roll star" Said Alan Johnson.
