Paul Rabil

by Connor from Lagrange

“How do I shoot 111 MPH shot, I shoot 111 balls before and after practice.”

My hero is Paul Rabil, a man dedicated to his sport. Paul Rabil was born on December 14th, 1985 in Baltimore, Maryland. I value many things about Paul Rabil and that is why he is my hero. Paul gives tips to many kids on how to get better at the game of lacrosse. Paul also does camps for kids and tells them how he can shoot so fast and how they can try to shoot as fast as he does. Paul also is so dedicated to lacrosse, there's not a day in his life that he doesn’t want to play lacrosse. Paul Rabil inspires me because of these values. Paul Rabil is a professional lacrosse player and he plays for the Boston Cannons.

Paul Rabil is most known for lacrosse, he is the fastest shooter the game has ever seen. He can shoot 111 MPH shots. Paul Rabil always does camps for kids. He teaches them the sport and how to excel in it. Paul reaches out to the community and tries to give tips on lacrosse. Paul also doesn’t brag on his skill he just says how he accomplished it like he said “How do I shoot 111 MPH shot? I shoot 111 balls before and after practice.” Many kids who play lacrosse are inspired by Paul because the kids want to be just like him. Paul tells kids that they can be just like him when they get older and all they have to do is practice.

When you see a commercial or video or quote by Paul Rabil many kids are inspired by the effort and passion he gives to the sport. Watching Paul play inspires people, he shows what a great athlete and team player he is. Paul shows that he is not only an athlete he is a friendly friend. These characteristics of Paul inspire many people because of the great person he is.

My life is impacted deeply by my hero Paul Rabil. Paul has shown me many skills and dedication to my sport. Every day I see Paul play I am inspired and want to go play lacrosse. Paul makes me want to become more like him every day I see him play or influence kids or give tips on the game. When I was younger I always used to watch Paul Rabil when he was in college and in the pros. He always used to make me want to play the sport. I finally did start to play the sport when I was 9 years old and I have been playing ever since. I have been inspired by Paul Rabil since that time.

Knowing that Paul Rabil helps many kids across the world, I know that he is my hero. Paul Rabil is not like a regular famous athlete. Most famous athletes with so much talent would gloat and brag and not care about anyone else but themself. Paul Rabil is a humble athlete who cares about the community and the future of other kids across America. Paul Rabil is not liked because of his skill and talent for the game, he is liked because he cares about other people. Paul Rabil is my hero.
