Phil Kessel is a 24 year-old cancer survivor, who plays hockey on the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer in December 2006, and since then, has made a remarkable recovery. The surgery to have the cancer removed was successful, and Kessel returned to playing hockey. 5 years later, he is leading the National Hockey League in points, and is second in the league for goals. He is arguably one of the best players in the NHL and doesn't let anything get in his way. Not even Cancer.
